미들스 이용약관 | Middles Terms of Service

1. 목적 | Purpose

이 약관은 미들스(Middles, 이하 "서비스")의 이용 조건을 규정합니다. 서비스에 가입하거나 이용함으로써 본 약관에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다.

These Terms govern your use of the Middles platform ("Service"). By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. 서비스 개요 | Service Overview

미들스는 키워드 핑거프린트 기반의 창작자 콘텐츠 플랫폼입니다. 알고리즘 추천이 아닌 사용자의 행동 패턴이 콘텐츠 발견을 결정하며, 창작자가 자신의 콘텐츠에 대한 소유권을 완전히 보유합니다.

Middles is a keyword fingerprint-based creator content platform. Content discovery is determined by user behavioral patterns—not algorithms—and creators retain full ownership of their work.

3. 가입 자격 | Eligibility

  • 만 18세 이상만 가입할 수 있습니다.
  • 가입 시 Google 또는 Apple 계정을 통한 소셜 로그인이 필요합니다.
  • 성인 확인을 위한 신용카드 인증이 필요합니다.
  • 허위 정보를 제공하여 가입한 경우, 서비스 이용이 제한될 수 있습니다.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • Sign-up requires a Google or Apple social login.
  • Credit card verification is required for age confirmation.
  • Providing false information may result in account restriction.

4. 콘텐츠 소유권 | Content Ownership

이것은 미들스의 핵심 원칙입니다.

  • 창작자가 업로드한 콘텐츠의 저작권 및 소유권은 전적으로 창작자에게 있습니다.
  • 미들스는 콘텐츠에 대한 소유권을 주장하지 않습니다.
  • 미들스는 서비스 운영에 필요한 범위 내에서만 콘텐츠를 표시, 배포, 전송할 수 있는 비독점적 라이선스를 가집니다.
  • 창작자는 언제든지 자신의 콘텐츠를 삭제할 수 있으며, 삭제 시 미들스의 라이선스도 종료됩니다.
  • 프로젝트를 통해 공동 제작된 콘텐츠의 소유권은 참여 창작자들 간의 합의에 따릅니다.

This is a core principle of Middles.

  • Copyright and ownership of uploaded content belongs entirely to the creator.
  • Middles does not claim ownership over any user content.
  • Middles holds a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and transmit content solely for Service operation.
  • Creators may delete their content at any time; deletion terminates Middles' license.
  • Ownership of collaboratively produced content through Projects is determined by agreement among participating creators.

5. 콘텐츠 공개 범위 | Content Visibility

  • 모든 콘텐츠는 기본적으로 회원 전용(members_only)입니다.
  • 창작자는 콘텐츠를 30초 미리보기(preview_30s) 모드로 설정하여 비회원에게 제한적으로 공개할 수 있습니다.
  • 미리보기 모드에서 비회원은 콘텐츠의 처음 30초만 시청할 수 있습니다.
  • All content is members-only by default.
  • Creators may enable 30-second preview mode (preview_30s) for limited non-member access.
  • In preview mode, non-members can only view the first 30 seconds of content.

6. 키워드 핑거프린트 | Keyword Fingerprint

  • 서비스 이용 중 사용자의 시청, 검색, 업로드 행동에 기반하여 키워드 핑거프린트가 생성됩니다.
  • 핑거프린트는 매칭 피드를 구성하는 데 사용됩니다.
  • 검색 기록은 핑거프린트에 자동 반영되지 않습니다.
  • 사용자는 핑거프린트 추적을 일시정지할 수 있습니다(30일 내 2회 제한).
  • 사용자는 핑거프린트 데이터의 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다.
  • Keyword fingerprints are generated based on your viewing, searching, and uploading activity.
  • Fingerprints are used to compose your matching feed.
  • Search history is not automatically reflected in fingerprints.
  • You may pause fingerprint tracking (limited to 2 times within 30 days).
  • You may request deletion of your fingerprint data.

7. 저작권 침해 통지 및 차단 | Copyright Infringement Notice and Takedown

미들스는 저작권 보호를 위해 통지-차단 절차를 운영합니다.

신고 접수 시:

  1. 해당 콘텐츠는 즉시 비공개 처리됩니다.
  2. 콘텐츠 창작자에게 신고 사실이 통보됩니다.
  3. 창작자는 정당한 권리 증빙을 통해 이의를 제기할 수 있습니다.
  4. 이의 제기 시 콘텐츠가 임시 복원될 수 있습니다.
  5. 이의 없이 14일이 경과하면 콘텐츠는 영구 삭제됩니다.

반복 침해자 정책:

  • 저작권 침해 경고 3회: 계정 임시 정지
  • 저작권 침해 경고 5회: 계정 영구 정지

Middles operates a notice-and-takedown procedure for copyright protection.

Upon receiving a report:

  1. The content is immediately hidden.
  2. The content creator is notified of the report.
  3. The creator may file a counter-notice with proof of legitimate rights.
  4. Content may be temporarily restored upon counter-notice.
  5. If no counter-notice is filed within 14 days, the content is permanently removed.

Repeat infringer policy:

  • 3 copyright strikes: temporary account suspension
  • 5 copyright strikes: permanent account ban

8. 금지 행위 | Prohibited Conduct

다음 행위는 금지됩니다:

  • 타인의 저작물을 무단으로 업로드하는 행위
  • 허위 정보로 가입하거나 타인의 계정을 도용하는 행위
  • 서비스의 정상적인 운영을 방해하는 행위 (봇, 자동화 도구 등)
  • 불법 콘텐츠를 업로드하거나 공유하는 행위
  • 스팸, 광고, 악성 링크를 공유하는 행위
  • 다른 사용자를 괴롭히거나 위협하는 행위

The following are prohibited:

  • Uploading copyrighted material without authorization
  • Signing up with false information or impersonating another user
  • Interfering with Service operations (bots, automated tools, etc.)
  • Uploading or sharing illegal content
  • Sharing spam, advertisements, or malicious links
  • Harassing or threatening other users

9. 제재 | Penalties

위반 행위의 심각도에 따라 다음 제재가 적용될 수 있습니다:

  • 경고
  • 콘텐츠 비공개 처리
  • 슬롯 30일 잠금
  • 기기 차단
  • 계정 7일 정지
  • 계정 영구 정지

Penalties may be applied based on violation severity: warning, content removal, 30-day slot freeze, device block, 7-day suspension, or permanent ban.

10. 서비스 변경 및 중단 | Service Changes and Termination

  • 미들스는 서비스를 개선하기 위해 기능을 추가, 변경, 또는 제거할 수 있습니다.
  • 중요한 변경 사항은 서비스 내 알림 또는 이메일을 통해 사전에 안내됩니다.
  • 미들스는 운영상의 이유로 서비스를 중단할 수 있으며, 가능한 한 사전에 안내합니다.
  • Middles may add, change, or remove features to improve the Service.
  • Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
  • Middles may discontinue the Service for operational reasons with reasonable advance notice.

11. 면책 | Disclaimer

  • 미들스는 사용자가 업로드한 콘텐츠의 정확성, 적법성에 대해 보증하지 않습니다.
  • 서비스는 "있는 그대로(AS IS)" 제공되며, 미들스는 서비스의 중단 없는 운영을 보장하지 않습니다.
  • 현재 파일럿 단계로, 서비스에 버그나 불완전한 기능이 포함될 수 있습니다.
  • Middles does not guarantee the accuracy or legality of user-uploaded content.
  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and Middles does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
  • The Service is currently in pilot phase and may contain bugs or incomplete features.

12. 준거법 | Governing Law

이 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따라 해석됩니다. 분쟁 발생 시 서울중앙지방법원을 관할 법원으로 합니다.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
